  • Pohutakawa Birds Eye Burr Bowl

This bowl is made from Pohutakawa measuring 18″ x 8″ or 520mm dia x 200mm.

Pohutakawa is often refered to as our New Zealand Christmas tree as it is covered in rich red flowers that bloom during December and January.

It grows on the coastal areas and on the beach. I like to leave the nautural edges on my work as it adds character to the piece.
