  • Stitched Hollow Form Vessel

Made from southland beech, this is a large hollow form measuring 13″ tall and 13″ wide or 325mm tall x 325mm wide.

The story behind this piece is that it cracked and so I set about to repair it again. So, I stitched it up with linen thread. It’s like we all get damaged throughout our lives and in order to remain whole we stitch ourselves back together again.

Above all adversities, we carry on.

Sometimes that leaves scars.  That’s what this piece is all about

    Finished with French polish.
